don't be fooled
Public Service Announcement: college is not as much fun as they say it is!
It may seduce you with its chiseled abs. It may entice you with its fresh-baked smell. It may impress you with its dedication to community service, its stellar batting average, and its suave European accent. Do not be fooled.
Oh, sure, for the first couple of months you'll be enjoying the constant parties, rivers of alcohols, guilt-free hook-ups and the seemingly endless supply of new friends. And you say, "Oh, college! You are my one true love. We were meant for each other!"
But that's all just part of college's deadly camoflauge. It lures you in with promises of an endless reservoir of fun, then it slams you with a flood of homework, midterms, power lectures, vicious bell curves, bills, communal bathrooms, sleep deprivation and the constant threat of bankruptcy hanging over your head.
Yeah, ok, I'm ready for Thanksgiving break.
