All I ever wanted
What ruined my day was someone driving around campus in a BMW Z4 coupe.
You see, when I was a child, all I ever wanted was to drive around the country in an expensive car solving crimes with my sharp wit and sexy catchphrases.
This dream, like so many others, was shattered when I realized that I will never have enough money even to be run over by such a car, let alone own one, and that my sharp wit is more like drunken belligerence.
But that, as they say, is just how it goes. And until I learn how to hotwire an engine, there's not much I can do about it.
