Why I will never be a mechanic
When things break, I fix them by hitting them with other things. It's surprisingly effective, as a general rule. I've fixed a pencil sharpener, a camera, a nintendo and two tamagotchis this way.
But, on occasion, it can be a little counterproductive. Like today, when I banged my calculator against the kitchen table for a solid five minutes before my dad brought me a new set batteries for it.
And I'll be damned if his method wasn't twice as efficient as mine.
