2 for $2
I went to the dollar store at the mall today, in search of cheap cookie tins. I didn't find any cookie tins, but I found something even better. Over a rack of outdated M&M's was a handwritten sign that read:
"M&M's: 2 for $2"
I would genuinely like to meet the person who made that sign. I mean, it's a dollar store; "2 for $2" applies to every single item in the store. And yet someone was so convinced that a sign was necessary that they actually took the time to handcraft one.
